I was born of Swedish & Norwegian parents in a small town in Minnesota, uff da! My parents were musicians and played in bands all the time I was growing up. I studied music and arranging in Detroit Lakes High School and Moorhead State University. I graduated High School but not college. However, I did play in the MSU Stage Band for five years and studied under Doctor Al Noice. I played in bands around Fargo until 1981 until I moved to Minneapolis. Now I play gigs in and around the Twin City area. I have lived with my wife, Joanne (Wadena, MN) for 26 years in Brooklyn Center Minnesota.
